Cooking does not have to be a tedious task, not according to Sally Mitchell anyway, who teaches viewers just how easy it is to cook gourmet healthy items at home in just under twenty minutes if you are prepare at the offset of the adventure. One wonderful video to check out is her recipe video for Salmon with Chili Mango Quinoa; which likely sounds as if it is too high level for normal cooks in the kitchen, but turns out to be delightfully easy and if watching Mitchell is any indication, fun to make as well.

In order to get started with the Salmon with Chili Mango Quinoa recipe you need to make sure you have a nice strip of salmon, some quinoa (which is like a puffy rice/couscous for those who are not familiar with it) mango, chili pepper, avocado, olive oil, and about a cup of natural yogurt. Once the ingredients are out on the table the rest is actually a snap.

Start off by adding some quinoa and water to a pot and some olive oil to a frying pan.  Drop the fish in the frying pan skin side down to help protect the flavour of the fish and while it is cooking move on to the salad. Toss the quinoa with some diced red onion, diced mango, a bit of olive oil, and very small pieces of chili pepper.

Then, blend together some yogurt and avocado paste together for the dressing of the quinoa salad. Place the quinoa salad on a dish, pour over the dressing, and place a piece of salmon on the side and dinner is ready!
