The pros and cons of waxing

Usually, waxing is performed by using special warm strip wax which is used on the skin in the direction of hair growth. Afterwards it is removed by using a fabric or paper strip against the hair growth’s direction.

This method is quick and efficient, but it has some cons as well. For example, in many cases it can’t remove shorter hairs and your feet will often be covered with sticky residue. If your skin is too sensitive or thin, then it might be bruised. This is why therapists advise using Hot Wax in more sensitive areas like bikini, intimate waxing and underarms.

As you can tell by the name, Hot Wax is hotter than regular wax. When the wax is applied to the skin it starts cooling down and shrinking, wrapping the hairs and giving a stronger grip.

Using these types of waxes is a bit trickier, because they must be applied in a special way in order to achieve the best result. The quickest and most efficient method is applying it in a figure of eight. This builds several layers of wax and covers the skin with a thick layer which makes removing hairs much easier.

However, applying the figure of eight movement brings another problem. Hot Wax cannot be used in small areas as there isn’t enough space to apply it properly. This is why manufacturers of health & beauty products around the world have spent the last couple of years developing new types of hot wax in order to resolve these issues. The new Non Strip Wax is superior to the traditional Hot Wax and is preferred by millions of people around the world.

One of the best products is presented by Perron Rigot. Their home wax has a metallic green color and it has been specially designed for men. It is the perfect option if you want to wax male Brazilian, underarms and other large body areas. It is absolutely painless and using it is quite easy.
